The Agrochemical Practice at Oblon is supported by a team of attorneys, patent agents and technical advisors that have advanced degrees in chemistry, biotechnology and engineering.
The Oblon team of professionals within the Agrochemical Practice Group takes on all aspects of IP protection, analysis and enforcement in the varied, but related fields of herbicides, insecticides, fertilizers, growth promoters, feeds, agricultural products and other chemical applications. In addition to traditional chemicals and biotechnology, our team has experience in obtaining plant patents, utility patents for plants, and plant variety protection certificates. Several of our attorneys and agents have worked in chemical research or in the industry prior to pursuing careers in intellectual property, enabling a high degree of understanding and familiarity with the various facets of technological development.
