Frank was born and raised in the small town of Neodesha, Kansas and has six brothers and sisters. Neodesha is derived from Osage Indian word “Ni-o-sho-de,” which roughly translates to “meeting of waters” or “the-water-is-smoky-with-mud.” Flooding occurred often in his hometown.
Frank lives with his wife and his active teenage daughter who is a sophomore in high school and plays on both the varsity softball and varsity field hockey team. Frank’s life outside of the office revolves around cheering at her games and attending various college recruitment seminars for field hockey players.
In his free time, Frank enjoys hiking, traveling and reading. Locally, he likes to hike in Great Falls and Shenandoah Valley with his daughter; but his all-time favorite hiking spot is Lake Tahoe. Frank also loves to travel, narrowing down his favorite destinations as Paris, France and Ireland. On his traveling bucket list, he wants to visit Tibet and Buenos Aires, Argentina.
When Frank is not traveling or hiking, he can be found reading philosophy books and biographies. With a philosophy background, his favorite author is Fyodor Dostoevsky, who is known for philosophy-religious-psychology related novels, including: Notes from the Underground, White Knights, and The Idiot; his favorite is Crime and Prejudice.
