Further to our recent communication of December 10, 2021 (linked here), regarding the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO)’s proposed transition to electronic issuance of U.S. patents and U.S. trademark registration certificates in 2022, the USPTO has now issued a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking in the Federal Register.

The USPTO is requesting public comments on the Notice until February 14, 2022.
