Recent Trends in Post Grant Practice

Schedule : at IAM-Oblon Webinar

Associated People

Oblon co-hosted a webinar with IAM entitled "Recent Trends in Post Grant Practice." This webinar will be hosted by Christopher Ricciuti and Michael Casey, Ph.D., on June 9th, 2021 (10am HK time) - June 8th, 2021 (10pm EST).

Much has changed before the PTAB since IPRs became available on September 16, 2012. During this webinar we will take a current look at discretionary denials under 35 U.S.C. §§ 314(a) and 325(d) (including administrative challenges to the PTAB’s NHK/Fintiv factors), motion to amend practice, a petitioner’s standing to appeal an adverse IPR determination, and historical statistics on the prevalence and success rates for anticipation and obviousness arguments.
