Oblon Announces Election of New Partners

Oblon, McClelland, Maier & Neustadt, LLP is pleased to announce the election of two new partners – Grace E. Kim and Frank J. West – effective in 2022.
Grace E. Kim works in the firm’s Chemical Patent Prosecution practice group, focusing on patent preparation and prosecution for domestic and international clients in a wide range of technical areas, including battery materials, biotechnology, catalysis, chemical separation processes, cosmetics, dyes, glass products, imaging devices, light-emitting materials, metallurgy, nanotechnology, optical and electronic devices, pharmaceuticals, plastics, polymers, and semiconductor materials and devices. Her practice includes counseling clients on their technological and business objectives and managing patent portfolios. Grace has handled appeals before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board and the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. Grace is also an active speaker in webinars, has published articles on patent matters, and has been included by Best Lawyers in the "Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch" list.
Frank J. West works in the firm's Litigation, ITC Litigation, and Pharmaceutical/Medical Devices practice groups, representing a wide range of U.S. and foreign companies, their affiliates and subsidiaries. His practice includes district court litigations, including abbreviated new drug application (ANDA) cases, Federal Circuit appeals and 337 actions before the International Trade Commission (ITC).
