        Philippe Signore and Colin Harris will be presenting on the topic "US design patent law and practice".

        The first part will cover practical considerations for preparing and examining US design patents, including entering the US phase from an international (Hague) application, drawings, priority and prior art rules, and interacting with US examiners.  

        The second part will focus on enforcing US patents, including the test for infringement, damages, trends, and a discussion of the design patent aspects of the Apple v. Samsung smartphone war.
