Oblon is strongly committed to supporting and improving the community in which we work and live.John R. Barker, COO
This holiday season, Oblon is a proud supporter of the Disabled American Veterans, Children’s National Hospital and the Salvation Army's Angel Tree program. The firm and its employees joined together in the cause to raise money for these organizations and give gifts to children and families in need. Oblon was able to provide an additional firm monetary donation to DC Salvation Army to help replenish the stolen gifts from their warehouse.
Below are examples of organizations that the firm and its employees support in various capacities.

We make every effort to engage in environmentally sustainable practices by participating in recycling programs and energy conservation and by encouraging our employees to consider alternative commuting methods.
Importantly, Oblon’s office building has been certified at the "Gold" level under LEED as of October 2014. We have also received an Energy Star Certification every year since 2009. Our building management and facilities team is always working with firm management to ensure that the firm is ahead of the curve with regard to waste and energy use reduction, recycling and reuse programs and in communicating the importance of related practices to Oblon's employees.
