Yechao (Mike) Dai is a Technical Advisor in the Electrical and Mechanical Patent Prosecution practice group where he focuses on drafting patent applications for domestic and international clients. He has experience in patent work in various technologies, including wireless communications, LTE, 4G, 5G, Internet of Things, semiconductors, and computing memories.
Prior to joining Oblon, Mike worked as a Technical Research Engineer at an IP firm in Chicago, where he focused on technical support in patent monetization and portfolio prosecution strategy for clients in various technology fields. During his graduate studies at the University of Illinois at Chicago, Mike researched next generation semiconductor structures, where he focused on Carbon Nanotube Field-Effect Transistors (CNTFETs).
