Oblon Expands Design Practice Group to Include Copyright & Trademark Services
Alexandria, VA –premier Intellectual Property law firm Oblon, McClelland, Maier & Neustadt, LLP announced today that it has integrated its Copyright and Trademark practice into its growing Industrial Designs practice group. The newly integrated Trademark and Designs group will allow the synergies between these practice groups to be fully leveraged at a time when clients seeking copyright and trademark services are demanding a more holistic approach to their business needs. The new group will be under the supervision of Philippe Signore, a Partner, member of the Firm’s Management Committee, and long-term Chair of the current Industrial Designs practice. Oblon’s Copyright and Trademark practitioners will continue to attain and protect the creative and intellectual property rights of current and future clients as well as meet client needs relating to Trademark oppositions and Trademark, Copyright and Trade Dress litigation.
Further, Oblon is pleased to announce that Brian E. Banner, the firm’s most seasoned trademark and copyright practitioner, will oversee the daily operations of the firm’s Trademark and Copyright practice.
“We are fortunate to have a large and sophisticated client base that includes some of the world’s leading technical innovators and brands. Sophisticated companies are moving away from traditional, registration-centric practices and keeping such work in-house. Our clients come to us for our ability to offer big picture business strategies, counseling, and dispute resolution. As such, we have now focused that suite of services in one Trademark & Design practice group and, in the process, have recalibrated our former Copyright and Trademark practice to be more in line with market demands,” said Oblon Managing Partner, Bradley Lytle.
The Firm is continually focused on the provision of preeminent intellectual property legal services along the entire intellectual property spectrum and being adaptive and responsive to its clients’ needs and the economic realities in the marketplace.
Assisting clients for over 40 years, Oblon is one of the largest intellectual property law firms in the United States.
