Michael D. West is an attorney in Oblon’s Patent Litigation group.  He litigates patents in the standards-based and regulated technologies, with emphasis in the electrical, mechanical and computer software arts. Mr. West’s practice consists of handling complex Inter Partes Reviews (IPR), ITC matters, opinions, due diligence, and counseling.  Mr. West also handles patent prosecution matters, for example, drafting and procuring utility and design applications. Mr. West’s technical expertise consists of a wide range of technologies including automotive and telecommunications industries, as well as the following technologies:
