Hanjun Liu is a Patent Agent in the firm’s Electrical Patent Prosecution Practice Group providing legal service to clients in the areas of patent prosecution and PTAB litigation. Mr. Liu prosecutes patent application for clients from an extensive range of arts, including semiconductor devices, software, mobile technology and mechanical systems.
Mr. Liu has expertise in semiconductor fabrication, MEMS, photovoltaics, automobile technologies and analog/digital circuits. Mr. Liu has research experience in fabrication and design of multiple layer organic solar cells. His research focuses on improving organic solar cells’ efficiency by using light trapping techniques.
Prior to law school, Mr. Liu was a founder of a start-up company and during law school, Mr. Liu was involved in the Patent Law Clinic. He supported the Clinic’s clients, including handling Office Action responses, generating patentability reports, and drafting patent applications.
