2013 European-American Chamber of Commerce

Philippe Signore has been invited to present by the European-American Chamber of Commerce (EACC) as part of their 2013 lecture series in Paris, France. His presentation will include discussion and analysis of recent developments in U.S. patent law, including strategic considerations relative to the new rules introduced by the USPTO in March 2013 regarding the new system of the First-Inventor-to-File. He will also provide comment on two decisions from the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit issued in May 2013, including one related to the patentability of software inventions and the other to the potential risks of responding to Restriction Requirements during prosecution.  Finally, Mr. Signore will discuss various decisions related to post-grant proceedings.
