Toshiba Corporation v. Loral Fairchild Corporation

On Thursday, December 21, 2001, a jury in the Eastern District of New York sitting in Brooklyn found in favor of Toshiba Corporation in a patent infringement suit brought against Toshiba by Loral Fairchild Corporation. The jury found that Toshiba had not infringed Loral's patent 3,931,674 and that the claim of the patent which was asserted against Toshiba was invalid for obviousness. Toshiba was represented by Arthur Neustadt, Richard Kelly and Carl Schlier of Oblon, Spivak, McClelland, Maier & Neustadt, P.C. of Arlington, Virginia.
