TTAB Decisions

We provide these decisions of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office's (USPTO) Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB) as a service to our clients and the trademark legal community. The TTAB is the administrative panel of the USPTO that decides trademark opposition, cancellation, and ex parte appeals. Although many of these decisions are "unpublished," meaning they cannot be cited as legal precedent, we believe that these can be very helpful in learning about trademark law and how the TTAB decides such cases. The decisions of the TTAB only affect the parties' rights to register the trademark in question, and generally do not affect a party's ability to use a particular mark in the United States.
