Gregory G. Grubb is a technical advisor in the firm’s Electrical Patent Prosecution practice group, where he writes and revises patent applications for a variety of domestic and international clients.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Grubb spent seven years serving as a nuclear submarine officer for the U.S. Navy.  While in the Navy, Mr. Grubb obtained extensive training and operational experience in all aspects of nuclear powered propulsion, including reactor core design, chemistry, fluid mechanics, power generation and distribution, and instrumentation and control systems.  Additionally, Mr. Grubb managed a testing program in the United States defense acquisition community for the combat control system used on Seawolf, Los Angeles, and Virginia class submarines.

Prior to joining the Navy, Mr. Grubb worked for General Electric where he designed automated control systems for use in municipal utility plants.  Mr. Grubb’s time at General Electric provided experience in systems engineering, PLC programming, and human-machine interface design.
