ERIC J. MYERS is a patent attorney in the firm’s Chemical Patent Prosecution and Pharmaceutical/Medical Devices practice groups. He prosecutes patent applications for major multinational corporations in a wide range of technologies including biotechnology, coatings, cosmetics, dyes, glass products, inorganic and organic chemistry, light-emitting materials, metallurgy, nanotechnology, pharmaceuticals, plastics, polymers, semiconductors, textiles, and toners.
While in law school, Mr. Myers studied and wrote about developments in the patent and regulatory laws governing pioneer and generic pharmaceuticals. Mr. Myers also served during law school as an intern for the Honorable Paul J. Luckern of the International Trade Commission (ITC). His responsibilities at the ITC included drafting claim construction, infringement, and validity findings for 337 investigations into importation of alleged infringing goods.
Prior to attending law school, Mr. Myers researched metal oxide nanoparticle synthesis and catalysis at Penn State and carbon nanotube applications in atomic force microscopy at the New Jersey Institute of Technology.
