Stephen G. Baxter, Ph.D.
Partner STEPHEN G. BAXTER is a partner in the firm's Chemical and Litigation Practice Groups. His practice includes all phases of patent prosecution, including the preparation of patent applications, patent litigation in Federal District Court and in the International Trade Commission, client counseling, and due diligence. He is especially experienced in the prosecution and litigation of pharmaceutical patents.
Dr. Baxter earned his law degree at Georgetown University Law School. Formerly an Assistant Professor of Chemistry at Tufts University, he received his Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry at Princeton University and earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. He has published nearly 20 scientific articles in areas such as heterocyclic chemistry and stereochemistry.

Dr. Baxter is admitted to the Bars of Virginia and the Court of Appeals of the Federal Circuit.
