COLIN B. HARRIS is an attorney in the firm's Electrical/Mechanical Practice Group and is also a member of the firm's Industrial Design Protection Practice. He has experience drafting and prosecuting patent applications in many fields including automotive and aerospace technologies, packaging, consumer electronics, semiconductor manufacturing, and medical devices. Mr. Harris also provides client counseling including clearance reviews and infringement and validity opinions for utility and design patents. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Harris was a law clerk in an Arlington, Virginia intellectual property firm. Mr. Harris also served as an intern for the Honorable Paul J. Luckern of the U.S. International Trade Commission. Mr. Harris received a Juris Doctorate degree from the George Mason University School of Law in 2006. While in law school, Mr. Harris was a member of the Civil Rights Law Journal. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Virginia in 2003. Mr. Harris is admitted to the Virginia State Bar and is registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. He is a member of the Giles S.
