Noah K. Flaks is a senior attorney in the firm’s Electrical and Mechanical Patent Prosecution group. His practice focuses on client counseling and patent prosecution for domestic and international companies.
Mr. Flaks has experience prosecuting patent applications and drafting claims in technologies related to wireless communications, including 3GPP 3G/4G standards, carrier aggregation, machine-type communication (MTC), device-to-device communication (D2D), near field communication (NFC), digital video broadcasting (DVB), and powerline communication. In addition to wireless communications, Mr. Flaks regularly prosecutes patent applications in other technologies, including advanced display devices, user interface (UI), imaging devices and data recording mediums.
Mr. Flaks also has extensive experience drafting patent applications as well as handling appeals before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB). Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Flaks was an associate at another intellectual property law firm in Alexandria, Virginia.
