Oblon, Spivak Elects New Partner and Names A New Senior Associate

Alexandria, Va. – Oblon, Spivak, McClelland, Maier & Neustadt, L.L.P., is pleased to announce Eric W. Schweibenz has been elected a new partner to the Firm and John Presper has been elevated to a senior associate.

Eric W. Schweibenz practices in the Firm’s Litigation Practice Group, focusing on patent litigation in the federal courts and the International Trade Commission. He has extensive experience in complex litigation including intellectual property, and has represented clients in a wide variety of industries, including medical devices, semiconductor manufacturing, automotive, liquid crystal display technologies, and gas turbine engines. He received his J.D. from Roger Williams University School of Law and his B.A. from West Chester University.

John F. Presper also practices in the Firm’s Litigation Practice Group. He has patent litigation experience in Federal District court in several technologies, including electrical devices, chemicals, and various mechanical arts. He received his J.D. and a Certificate in Intellectual Property from the University of Connecticut School of Law, where he served as Executive Editor of the Connecticut Journal of International Law. He received his B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Bucknell University.
