Oblon Announces Election of Two New Senior Attorneys
Alexandria, VA – Oblon, McClelland, Maier & Neustadt, LLP is pleased to announce the election of two new senior attorneys – Jonathan Parthum and Robert Tarcu - effective January 1, 2017.
Mr. Parthum is an attorney in the Firm’s Electrical Patent Prosecution group where he provides counseling on matters such as the patentability of new inventions and drafting patent applications to protect his clients' key innovations. Prior to joining Oblon, Mr. Parthum worked as a software engineer for Kollmorgen Electro-Optical and for BAE Systems.
Mr. Tarcu is also an attorney in the Firm’s Electrical Patent Prosecution group where he provides counseling on a wide range of matters including patentability, portfolio management, and patent prosecution strategies. Before joining Oblon, Mr. Tarcu served as a Patent Examiner for the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). He is also experienced in application drafting techniques that aid in efficient prosecution.
