Founder Marvin Spivak Departs Oblon, Spivak, McClelland, Maier & Neustadt, LLP

Marvin Spivak is departing Oblon, Spivak, McClelland, Maier & Neustadt LLP on January 15. The firm will rebrand as Oblon, McClelland, Maier & Neustadt LLP or simply “Oblon.”

Mr. Spivak helped to build the firm and we are proud of our legacy together. Alongside the other founders, his hard work, resolve and vision have helped make Oblon what it is today, and we are grateful for his contributions. Though his name will no longer be part of our iconic brand, his legacy will endure for decades, both inside our offices and in the legal community.

Starting today, we will embark on a major rebranding effort. Throughout this process, we will do our utmost to ensure that clients continue to recognize the firm they have come to rely on, while also keeping the firm current, with a refreshed look that underscores the enhanced legal services available to our clients.

We remain unwavering in our commitment to providing excellent Intellectual Property legal work, of all types, to each of our clients.
