Biography

Brian D. Fisher, Jr. is a patent agent in the firm’s Electrical Patent Prosecution practice group. There he is involved in the preparation and prosecution of patent applications, including portfolio development, application drafting, strategy and examiner interviews. Mr. Fisher provides experience in software, mobile application development, and image and signal processing. His prosecution background includes assisting multiple Fortune 500 companies, as well as start-ups in the electrical and mechanical arts. Some of his recent projects include patents related to autonomous vehicles, factory automation systems, GUI, optics and wireless communication.

Prior to joining Oblon, Mr. Fisher has worked in technical roles for Boeing and BP. At Boeing, Mr. Fisher provided product support for the International Space Station. At BP, Mr. Fisher worked as a Subsurface Technology Engineer in research and development for the Advanced Seismic Imaging team and engaged in the specialized task of determining astrophysics imaging techniques suitable for subsurface seismic imaging.
