Beyond the Office

Anna was born and raised in the Ukrainian Soviet Republic. When she was nine years old, her family immigrated to the United States and settled in Philadelphia, PA, which is where she learned to speak English and developed a love of hoagies. Though Anna has since relocated, many of her family members still live in Philadelphia, so she enjoys visiting them regularly with her husband and two young daughters.

Anna’s Russian fluency allows her to enjoy both classic and contemporary works of Russian literature in her spare time. Her favorite author is Vladimir Nabokov, and she is currently reading his works in chronological order. Additionally, Anna’s love of cooking and eating has also resulted in a collection of cookbooks, one of which is signed by both Eric Ripert and the late Anthony Bourdain.

When she’s not reading or cooking, Anna likes to play chess and can often be found playing online with family members and coworkers.
