Oblon Management Update

Oblon is pleased to report that its Management Committee elected Philippe Signore as its Managing Partner. Dr. Signore was Managing Partner from 2018 to 2023 and took a sabbatical from the position.  “I am honored to have been re-elected, and I look forward to working closely with our attorneys and our staff to continue to provide high-quality, value-added service to our clients for many years to come,” said Dr. Signore.  The Management Committee also elected Akihiro Yamazaki as the Firm’s Deputy Managing Partner, and elected Ryan Smith, Partner in the Electrical/Mechanical Practice Group, to the Management Committee.  Earlier this year, Partner Yuki Onoe was named Head of the Chemical Department, Partner Grace Kim was promoted to Deputy Head of the Chemical Department, and James Love was named Head of the Electrical/Mechanical Department.  “Our firm is privileged to have a leadership team with great talent and diversity,” said Dr. Signore.
